Days of our Lives fans are in for a treat as new developments unfold in the show's complex plotlines. EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel), renowned for his wealth, astonishes everyone by purchasing University Hospital. Speculations arise about Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel), possibly being a secret partner in this venture. With the finances of EJ DiMera under the joint scrutiny of the ISA and FBI, led by Kat and Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering), it becomes evident that EJ may not have had enough personal wealth to acquire the hospital on the Peacock soap opera. 
DOOL sees that as the investigation deepens, Vivian Alamain, the mother to EJ's sibling Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash), emerges as a likely conspirator. Vivian's wealth and close ties to the DiMeras through her twin sons Jake and Stefan make her a viable suspect. The involvement of Gwen Rizczech (Emily O'Brien), who possesses a significant amount of Vann Leuschner money, also raises questions. 
Days of our Lives sees Vivian's motives for wanting the hospital are speculated. The hospital's research lab could prove lucrative once the FDA approves the life-saving sepsis drug, Versix. Moreover, Vivian's involvement with the DiMera's twisted scientist, Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (now played by Richard Wharton), might suggest a plan for a new version of the patriarch, Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo).

General Hospital: Sidwell & Drew Target Kids for Takedown?! | Soap Dirt

General Hospital sees characters Drew Cain Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) and Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) are seething with anger towards the Corinthos men - Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). Drew is intent on taking down Michael to restore Willow Tait's (Katelyn MacMullen) kids, while Sidwell aims to make Sonny pay for abducting Marco (Adrian Anchondo) and threatening him on the ABC soap opera. 
GH sees Drew and Sidwell's common objectives might lead them to team up against Michael and Sonny. Drew tried to reason with Carly Corinthos Spencer (Laura Wright) but his pleas fell on deaf ears. He then decided on a plot that might involve Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) altering lab tests and reports to show that Michael has an opioid addiction. However, if Portia refuses, Drew might resort to Plan B, which could involve Sidwell. 
General Hospital sees Sidwell, on the other hand, is also driven by revenge. He believes Sonny had a hand in Natalia Ramirez's (Eva LaRue) death and wants him to suffer the consequences. Drew and Sidwell, both seeking justice, could potentially conspire to ruin the Corinthos men's lives. In the end, the person who stands to lose the most is Willow. While Sonny usually comes out on top, he hasn't faced an opponent as formidable as Sidwell in a while.

Obrecht's unexpected return seems to be spurred by an email from Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr), who she shares a unique bond with.
