The character, who received a heart transplant in 1994, is feared to need another transplant to survive. As Maxie's condition worsens, her family and friends rally around her. Meanwhile, Lucas Jones, played by Van Hansis, and Liesl Obrecht, played by Kathleen Gati, express their concerns about Maxie potentially slipping into a coma. 
The situation on General Hospital prompts speculation about who might die so Maxie can get their heart. Potential candidates include Cody Bell, played by Josh Kelly, Frisco Jones (Jack Wagner), Maxie's father, and even the returning Nathan West, played by Ryan Paevey. A less popular but still plausible option is Drew Cain Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison), a character many in Port Charles would gladly see gone.

The situation becomes more complicated when official Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal Will is unable to recall the events of the night before. Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) informs Will that he had to tuck him into bed due to his drunken state, causing Will to question Electra's text expressing her love and anticipation for their next date night.

However, the truth about Rachel's actions remains a mystery, known only to Marlena, EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel), and Kristen.
Days of Our Lives sees Rachel's behavioral problems can be traced back to her unconventional upbringing. Her conception was a result of Kristen, disguised as Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker), seducing Brady. Further, she was bounced back and forth between her parents, leading to instability. This coupled with Brady's addiction issues and a series of failed relationships, has led to Rachel's deep-seated issues. 
Days of Our Lives sees that Marlena, a seasoned psychiatrist, is left with the daunting task of helping Rachel navigate through her traumatic experiences. Marlena believes Rachel is suffering from dissociative amnesia due to the trauma of the shooting. Whether she can help Rachel recall and confront her actions against EJ remains to be seen.

General Hospital rumors are circulating about the resurrection of two characters, a male and a female. The return of these characters is said to come as a shock to fans, especially the reveal of the female character. One of the speculated characters is Nelle Benson, played by Chloe Lanier, who could possibly return to help her sister Willow Tate (Katelyn MacMullen), in her battle against Michael and Sonny, played by Maurice Benard, and Carly, played by Laura Wright. 
GH sees another speculated return is the villain Helena Cassadine, played by Constance Towers. The third possibility is the return of Sam McCall, previously played by Kelly Monaco, which would be a huge moment for fans who were devastated by her exit.
