Days of our Lives will feature dark turns, including murder and mayhem for Halloween, the opening of the Dr. Tom Horton Free Clinic, and the return of several former cast members. Chad DiMera, portrayed by Billy Flynn, will find himself in the midst of conflict, as will Dr. Marlena Evans, played by Deidre Hall, who experiences unsettling nightmares. EJ DiMera, played by Dan Feuerriegel, is also up to something sinister, sparking speculation about Dr. Wilhelm Rolf's (Richard Wharton) potential involvement.
Days of our Lives sees the much-anticipated 60th anniversary brings back Jennifer Devereaux (Melissa Reeves) and Jack Devereaux (Matthew Ashford), along with other beloved characters such as Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo), and Marie Horton (Maree Cheatham). Excitingly, Paul Narita (Christopher Sean), Andrew Donovan (Colton Little) and Will Horton (Chandler Massey) also return to Salem.  
DOOL sees Marlena Evans' (Deidre Hall) health crisis worsens, and Sophia Choi's (Rachel Boyd) adoption scheme with Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) is due to explode, thanks to Steve Johnson's (Stephen Nichols) detective work.

General Hospital, ABC's long-running soap opera, five actors have left the show, causing quite a stir among its dedicated fanbase. Marcus Coloma, known for his portrayal of Nikolas Cassadine, was among the recent departures, his exit shrouded in mystery and controversy. His replacement, Adam Huss, has taken up the mantle, adding to the intrigue. 
GH saw another iconic character, Luke Spencer, played by Anthony Geary, bid adieu for good, his departure caused by the actor's yearning for a change after 20 long years of playing the same character. Kelly Monaco's abrupt exit as Sam McCall was met with outrage from fans, while Lexi Ainsworth's replacement as Kristina Corinthos-Davis by Kate Mansi did not sit well with the audience. 
General Hospital also saw Jonathan Jackson, who played Lucky Spencer. His exit was attributed to the impracticality of commuting between Tennessee, where he lives, and Los Angeles, where the show is filmed. These departures have churned the waters of General Hospital, leading to speculations and rumors among its fans. The future of these characters, now in the hands of their replacements, remains to be seen.

Bold and the Beautiful: Shocking Reasons These Actors Really Left B&B | Soap Dirt

Bold and the Beautiful on CBS saw several shocking departures that sent shockwaves through the fan base. Hunter Tylo, who portrayed Dr. Taylor Hayes, exited the soap under controversial circumstances. She recently revealed some shocking tidbits about her own exit and that of Susan Flannery, who portrayed Stephanie Forrester. Tylo first left the show in 1996 after landing a role on Melrose Place but was fired due to her pregnancy. After a successful lawsuit, she returned to Bold and the Beautiful, only to leave again in 2002 and 2008 due to personal reasons. She finally walked away in 2013 due to creative differences, resulting in her character being recast with Krista Allen in 2021. 
Bold and the Beautiful saw that Allen, however, didn't find her tenure on the soap easy either, stating that the stressful production environment and personal attacks due to the Brooke-Taylor rivalry negatively impacted her health. She was ultimately replaced by Rebecca Budig.
B&B saw Ron Moss, who portrayed Rich Forrester, also exited the show in a surprising turn of events. According to Moss, his decision to leave was influenced by signs from the universe, including a near-death experience and a stopped clock in his dressing room. His departure led to Thorsten Kaye stepping into the role of Ridge. 
Bold and the Beautiful saw Winsor Harmon's departure from his role as Thorne Forrester was equally shocking, as he was reportedly blindsided by the decision to recast his character. Finally, Jacob Young exited his role as Rick Forrester due to frustration with lack of screen time and consistency.

Days of Our Lives, the NBC soap opera, has seen several top stars leave the show, including Camila Banus, Tyler Christopher, Greg Vaughan, and Ari Zucker. Camila Banus, who played Gabi Hernandez from 2010 to 2023, cited backstage stress, a shift in the show to Peacock streaming, and a desire to honor her father's unfulfilled dreams as reasons for her departure. 
DOOL saw Tyler Christopher, known for his role as Stefan DiMera, tragically struggled with alcohol addiction, which led to his dismissal from Days of Our Lives and, ultimately, his untimely death in 2023. Greg Vaughan, who portrayed Eric Brady, left the soap due to dissatisfaction with his character's storyline and screen time. Ari Zucker, who played Nicole Walker, left amid allegations of inappropriate behavior by executive producer and director Albert Alarr. 
Days of Our Lives saw other key departures include Victoria Konefal, who played Ciara Brady Weston, whose decision to leave was influenced by the pandemic, and Christian Alfonso and Peter Reckell, who played Hope and Bo Brady, respectively, but left due to personal reasons. Brandon Barash, who played Stefan, was let go from the show twice, while Drake Hogestyn, known for his role as John Black, sadly passed away from pancreatic cancer in 2024.
