Young and the Restless sees Aristotle Dumas (Billy Flynn) is creating a stir in Genoa City. The identity of this enigmatic billionaire has sparked wide speculation among fans, with the name Brooks Prentice frequently surfacing as a potential clue. Dumas, who remains an enigma to both Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Damian Kane (Germain Rivers), could potentially be a familiar face from the past.
Y&R rules out Victor and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) as Dumas' potential alter-egos. Despite suggestions of Kane Ashby (Daniel Goddard)being Dumas, the character's recent move to General Hospital makes it unlikely. There is little possibility of Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) returning to the CBS soap opera. 
Dumas could be tied back to Genoa City's original legacy families. Longtime fans might recall Stuart Brooks (Robert Colbert) and his four daughters, particularly Laura Lee Brooks (Jaime Lyn Bauer), who was married to Lance Prentiss (Dennis Cole). Their son, Brooks Prentice (André Gower), has not been seen since the mid-80s, but could possibly be returning as the mysterious Aristotle Dumas.
