Young and the Restless spoilers for the week of December 22nd reveal escalating tensions as Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and his son Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) clash, while Michael Baldwin (Christian Jules Leblanc) and Lauren Fenmore (Tracey Bregman) grapple with a Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) dilemma. Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) tries to persuade Michael to help the Abbotts retrieve a destructive AI program from Victor. Meanwhile, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) attempts to convince Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) to steal the AI back, a move that could prove disastrous.

Y&R spoilers suggest an unexpected twist as Phyllis's demand from the Abbotts is to handover Marchetti to Summer Newman (Allison Lanier), despite Daniel Romalotti's (Michael Graziadei) suspicion of her motives. The looming threats force Lauren and Michael to consider the lesser of two evils, an invasive AI or a double-crossed Victor, also known as "The Mustache."

Spoilers for Young and Restless indicate Victor and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) have a heated confrontation over Victor's actions against Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Jabot, but spoilers hint at a possible reconciliation by Christmas Eve. Billy and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) also have some Christmas festivities lined up with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and the kids.

More Y&R spoilers reveal Noah's impulsive decision to take Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun) around Genoa City, despite being pursued by a dangerous character, leads to an unexpected turn of events. Detective Burrows (Matt Cohen) enters into the fray, as the search for Matt and crooked cop Annie Stewart (Catherine Kresge) intensifies. Noah's clash with Nick escalates when Nick suggests Sienna may have willingly gone with Matt.
