The Young and the Restless recent episode dialog sparks questions around whether Cole Howard (J Eddie Peck) may be predicting his own demise. The character, son of Eve Howard and former lover of Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), returned to Genoa City after a lengthy hiatus. 

After a tumultuous fling with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and a marriage to Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) that was annulled due to a mix-up in parentage, Cole disappeared from Y&R entirely in the late 90s. 

His return in 2023 brought with it the revival of his daughter, Claire Howard (Hayley Erin), believed to have died shortly after birth. Young & Restless head writer, Josh Griffith, also introduced a new character, Jordan Howard (Colleen Zenk), as Cole's vengeful aunt. 

With February sweeps hitting fever pitch, we have to question Cole's recent dialogue hinting at protecting his daughter at all costs may be foreshadowing his untimely death. 

Young and Restless spoilers for the coming week suggest Jordan's return to Genoa City and an escalation of her revenge plans, possibly culminating in a dramatic showdown with her nephew.
