General Hospital spoilers see Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) may soon be released from Pentonville, thanks to a package delivered to the PCPD. The package, potentially sent by a notorious villain, contained a crucial piece of evidence - a gun that could clear Alexis's name in the murder case of Kate Howard (Kelly Sullivan). Martin Gray (Michael E Knight), Alexis's lawyer, believes this could be the key to reopening the case and proving Alexis's innocence on the ABC soap opera.

GH spoilers see Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) has come into possession of another potential game-changer: a Beretta nine-millimeter gun, previously owned by Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). If the gun's ballistics match the bullets found in Kate's body, it could prove that Alexis is not the murderer. 

Spoilers for General Hospital leave a question remaining - who sent the gun, and why did they choose to remain anonymous? Was it to save Alexis or someone else? Speculations are rife, with names like Rick Lansing (Rick Hearst), Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), and Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure) floating around. However, the most likely contender seems to be Valentine Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), Alexis's cousin.
