Days of Our Lives recast Gabi Hernandez, now played by Cherie Jimenez, finds herself in the midst of a murder mystery. Wendy Shin suspects her father, Li Shin (Remington Hoffman), is alive, despite the gruesome scene Gabi stumbled upon in Li's apartment. 

As Gabi awaits trial in Statesville prison, Wendy Shin (Victoria Grace) and Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) travel to Hong Kong to investigate. Meanwhile, Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) and Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) are on a mission to uncover the truth behind Li's alleged murder on DOOL. 

The plot thickens as we delve into Li's complex relationships, particularly with Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton), who has a reputation for cheating death. With Gabi set to be free in June, viewers are left guessing if her release is due to the discovery of the real killer or the revelation that Li is not dead at all on the NBC Peacock soap opera.
