Days of Our Lives, the beloved NBC soap opera, recently threw a curveball as young Rachel Black (Alice Halsey) displays odd behavior, potentially indicating a dark plot against her uncle, EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel). A leak reveals that Rachel might have been the one to shoot EJ, which aligns with an insider leak received earlier this year on the NBC Peacock soap opera. 

DOOL sees that despite initially appearing tormented, Rachel's actions suggest she might be the one pulling the strings, using intricate games to exact revenge on EJ. The theory was first leaked in February, causing a stir with the Days press office. Rachel's odd behavior at her birthday party and subsequent anxiety attacks point towards an underlying deviousness, reminiscent of her mother, Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk).

DAYS sees Rachel's rage towards EJ might have been ignited when he sent her grandmother, Rachel Blake (Roslyn Gentle), away to prevent her testifying against him. EJ's subsequent shooting, shortly after Kristen pleaded for her mother's return, hints at a possible connection. It also raises the question of whether young Rachel is genuinely traumatized or cleverly manipulating the adults around her.

Days of our Lives see Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) is arrested for shooting EJ, adding another layer to Rachel's potential scheme. Could Rachel be trying to punish EJ by framing Johnny for his shooting? Or is she suffering from a mental health crisis, blurring her memories of the traumatic event? Is Rachel following in her mother's devious footsteps or is she just a young girl dealing with the aftermath of a terrible event?
