Days of Our Lives sees EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) faces a shocking return from his past, threatening to unravel his life in Salem. The unwelcome visitor is Arnold Fenger (Galen Gering), a former accomplice known as Fake Rafe, who is set to bring chaos and distress to EJ and his family. Belle Black (Martha Madison), Salem's quick-thinking lawyer, manages to foil EJ's plan against Dr. Mark Greene (Jonah Robinson), reminding him of the limited jurisdiction of Salem's DA on a murder attempt in Paris on the NBC Peacock soap opera. 

DOOL takes a dark turn as EJ attempts to persuade Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) to fire Belle, and a surprise visit on Christmas Eve from his past associate throws EJ's world into turmoil. Meanwhile, Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) and Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) might also find themselves at the heart of Arnold's return. Questions arise about the future of characters like Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering), Sammy Brady (Alison Sweeney), and Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu). EJ's past actions are brought to light, potentially jeopardizing his relationship with his son Johnny and his position as DA.
