Days of Our Lives fans are questioning the future of character Abigail Devereaux, formerly portrayed by Kate Mansi and Marci Miller, and currently played by AnnaLynne McCord under the guise of Cat Green. The character's tragic death had left her husband Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and her father Jack Devereaux (Matthew Ashford) devastated. However, a recent scheme by Clyde Weston (James Read) has given them false hope, causing more upset.

DOOL fans speculate about the potential return of Abigail, either through her resurrection or a recasting of the role. While there's no word yet from the producers, it's clear that the character's return could provide much-needed relief for her family and fans. However, one compelling reason to let Abigail rest in peace is to ensure Clyde's continued imprisonment. The possible recasting of the role brings up the names of Emma Ryland and Kelly Monaco, both from General Hospital, as potential candidates.
