Days of our Lives during the holiday season brings unexpected surprises, tensions, and dramas. A key storyline sees Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) seeking help from his brother EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) in a plot against Clyde Weston (James Read). This move delights EJ, who harbors a deep hatred for Clyde. In another interesting turn, Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) finds Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) hungover. Holly later reminisces with Nicole and Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) about the past on the Peacock soap opera. 

Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) is concerned that her drug-running secret might be exposed by Harris Michaels (Steve Burton), while Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) increases his blackmail against Sloan Petersen (Jessica Serfaty). On December 26th, tensions rise as Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) confronts Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) while waiting for a drug drop, worried about EJ's involvement in their plan against Clyde Weston (James Read). 

The following day, Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) struggles with his sister Gabi Hernandez's (Camila Banus) imprisonment and the attack on her. Meanwhile, Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) and Wendy Shin (Victoria Grace)
bond over their strict upbringing on Days. 

As the New Year approaches, Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) discusses her mother Paulina Price's (Jackee Harry) health condition with Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman), and Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) notices her daughter with Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer), Victoria, running a fever. The year ends on DOOL on a high note with a New Year's Eve party at the bistro, promising more drama and surprises for the residents of Salem.
