Bold and the Beautiful: 5 Things B&B's Ruining Right Now | Soap Dirt

Bold and the Beautiful has an intense air of dissatisfaction that hangs around the CBS soap opera as fans express their frustration over several storylines, particularly Sheila Carter's (Kimberlin Brown) tumultuous marriage and Eric Forrester's (John McCook) design debacle. The CBS soap opera has been stirring up quite the controversy with an unexpected twist on Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) and Sheila's relationship, managing to paint Sheila in a sympathetic light despite her villainous past. Fans are also irked by the unethical actions of renowned psychiatrist Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) as she gets involved with her married patient, Deacon. 

B&B fans note that Ridge Forrester’s (Thorsten Kaye) increasingly unpleasant demeanor has not gone unnoticed, much to the fans' disappointment. He's been acting high-handed, asserting control over everyone, including his dad, Eric, and ex-wife, Taylor. Another dampener is the impending doom of Katie Logan's (Heather Tom) new fashion house. Showrunner Brad Bell had promised a fierce rivalry, but so far, it seems to be fizzling out rather than heating up. 

Bold and Beautiful fans have taken issue with the show's focus on the youngest and oldest generations, leaving the middle generation lacking screen time. Characters like Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton), Hope Logan (Annika Noelle), and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) are conspicuously absent from the action. Lastly, the lack of chemistry among several couples, including Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) and Daphne Rose (Murielle Hilaire), and the buried lies and fizzled relationships have left fans wanting more.
